Excerpt of the day
I was going through Owen Bennett Jones' book to do some fact-checking for this post (essentially to see whether Nawaz Sharif's supporters stormed the Supreme Court in 1997 or in 1998) when I came across my favourite part. No matter how many times I read this book, this part always cracks me up.

In 1963 Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto met President J. F. Kennedy in Washington. After a day of talks Kennedy looked at Bhutto and said: 'If you were American you would be in my cabinet.' 'Be careful Mr President,' Bhutto replied. 'If I were American you would be in my cabinet.'

Zulfi had big balls!
I guess his Oxford education made him arrogant!
oxford? didn't he go to USC?
a little bit of fact-checking (i.e wikipedia) reveals that he in fact studied at both USC and oxford.
