Photographs of the day

It's not all doom and gloom here on Five Rupees. We like to think we can appreciate the finer things in life, including photography. While I will leave our resident photography expert NB to cast the final word on these, they seem pretty cool to me! Anyways, if you want to see more pictures like this, go here. Many thanks to my friend/reader Faraz for sharing these with us.

i don't have facebook. what has he put up?

faraz, as the quid to my pro quo of putting you up on five rupees, i demand you send me said video in youtube format.

I don't understand what "quid to my pro quo" means but I'm guessing its along the lines of returning the favor.

Well here it is. And before you put your knickers into a knot over transition effects and zooming and panning and ask me to join the fiverupees web design team, please realize that its as simple as putting images in a folder, selecting music, and hitting record. That's why Macs rule.

i'm sorry to say, that was the dumbest video i've ever seen. the way nikhil talked about it, i thought you'd pulled a prank on tony blair or something.

Ok it wasn't meant to represent socratic work or anything!

socrates (according to faraz): the unexamined life is not worth living....and look here, anything less than 6 megapixels is probably not worth it, yeah?

I have no idea what that means. But since you didn't like the video I have pulled it from facebook. It remains on youtube as a timeless warning to those considering making dumb videos.
