In Other News, The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Oh, yeah. That.
They don't want us to stay on our land. But we won't leave. We'll die here. It's ours.
That quote pretty much sums it up, don't you think? The funny thing is, without me attributing it, you have no idea who said it - a Jewish settler or a displaced Palestinian.

god that video is horrible. Ahsan I was wondering if you read this article in the New York Times that described the situation in Palestine as resembling a kind of apartheid. Apparently the Palestinians and Israelis have to use separate roads with the Palestinians only being allowed onto the highway at certain times and if they miss that time period then they can't go to schools or to the hospital and things like that. I was surprised that the NYT was reporting it in the first place, considering it tends to be quite biased when it comes to this conflict.

it has just dawned on the liberals over at NYT that the palestinian situtation is like apartheid.

recently i saw one of the coolest pictures i've seen in a long time. it was a palestinian boy holding up a sign to journalists: "give the world our regards for degrading us"
