Iraqi Journalist Throws Shoe, Actually Shoes, At George W. Bush

Say this for Bush: he may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, and he may have presided over a global economic collapse, and he may go down as the America's worst ever President, but...he does have quick reflexes for a guy his age.

Good for the Iraqi shoe thrower. I wish it had smacked him on the head.

HA! Take that you west lovers! Now I suppose this Iraqi hero will be vilified on this blog for daring to stand against the despotic western tyrant

There is absolutely no way that Anon 6:27 is anyone but F-machine. And yes, this is more procrastination. At 3.40am on Monday. Good times.

Those were my first impressions too. Mr. Bush did rather well to get out of the way of the first throw, from a reasonably good distance. I guess hunting alongside Mr. Cheney hasn't dulled his senses eh? :)

I see the global financial meltdown is affecting your work in a very serious way. Please don't let Citigroup shedding 50k jobs get in the way of commenting on blogs in the middle of the night.

Razz:

Anyone with a South Park-ish profile picture is instantly in my good books.

I agree with my brother Karachi Khatmal. Anonymous is definitely Ahsan hiddenly trying to create controversy and attract visitors and comments to his blog. This is exactly like the time when the U.S. caused 9/11 hiddenly in order to attract attention to supposed muslim terrorism and justify their plans for a global empire by establishing bases in every country.
