A One-Sentence Summary Of Game 4

When you miss that many free throws, when you don't foul when you're up three with ten seconds remaining, when you give Derek Fisher the three instead of forcing him to drive, when you can't get a defensive rebound on a key possession in overtime in four chances, you deserve to lose.

Congratulations to the Lakers and their fans. Your 2009 NBA champions, ladies and gentlemen. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go throw up.

Wow. I didn't watch the game, or even read the summary (saw the espn page with a pic of Fisher, that was enough to quickly divert), but man, they didn't foul up 3 with ten seconds to go? Wtf?

Just to add a few more...When you turn the ball over 17 times, when you lose a 12 point lead in the third quarter......loved every second of it :)

BTW, who do you think would have won if celtics were in the finals with KG. I am a lakers fan but I have to admit celtics could have won again

It was so frustrating. I kept saying out loud: foul before the shot, foul before the shot. Apparently SVG didn't hear me.

Tough call, but I think the Celts would have taken it, mainly because of the point guard match up. LA's been troubled all year (and especially in the playoffs) by quick point guards (Aaron Brooks, Alston when he had his head on). I shudder to imagine what Rondo would have done to them.
