What Is With South Asians And Singing About Condoms?

What a truly awesome video this is. I'm not even joking -- it's quite educational, and is quite explicit about the uses and effects of condoms. The only drawback is that it's a bloody seven minute song, and there's men dressed as condoms. Actually, that last thing isn't really a drawback.

Of course, regular readers will be reminded of AKS' post a few weeks ago on Touch Condoms, which features a similar song-and-dance about condoms. The main difference between the two videos is that the Pakistani version tells you nothing about condoms themselves, and doesn't tell you what they actually do. Laugh all you want at the Tamils Telugus in the condom costumes, but I have to imagine that ad is more effective at population control.

Telugus, Ahsan, not Tamils.

Hilarious!

Yeah, it's Telugu, not Tamil. The English translation of the song is pretty close.

Although, I haven't seen this on TV the last time I was home (about 3 weeks ago).
