I think it's more an official representation of an institution — the Presidency of the State of Pakistan — than the person. But it'd be interesting to know why this specific design was chosen.
ahsan -- sorry dont have your mail so have to ask you here
i am no longer at the news, or would have asked you to write for the news -- however, i am now editorial pages editor with the express group which is taking out an english paper early next year -- was wondering if you would be interested in writing a weekly column for us -- do let me know -- for now email me at omarrquraishi@gmail.com
Someone paid Zardari to pose in front of this flag. He did not care what the flag was. He only cared about the money he stuffed in his pocket. Theives and crooks never care about anything but the "goods" they pocket.
@zayd Haha! Of course he did. It's foolish to think carrying BB's pic everywhere is also tantamount to his not getting over her. He's rather more engaged in 'honestly running the affairs of Islamic Republic of Pakistan' :D

Thanks Bilal!
Strange...I wonder what's the etiquette behind having a flag to represent a person?

Thank you so much for letting us know about the flag. I wasn't aware of this flag, which represents Presidency of the State of Pakistan.
