More Feedback Needed

Ok it seems no one, least of all the contributors to this blog, is happy with these color schemes. So do you guys think it might be better to simply revert to the old color scheme, and instead use a larger font to make it easier to read? Please leave your comments below.

I dont think I like the grayish very much. But yes i do agree that black is very harsh. Lol. But it fits your usual mood lol.

By the way i didnt ever leave. I am keeping updated on your blog but have not said anything. Congragulations on your engaged new life. However I know u think I am a little stupid. There is no need to make fun of me on the title page. I listen to your opinion but here you go making a little fun of me. It is okay. But then dont mind my comments also alright? While you might think my thinking is stupid, some readers might appriecate. Cheers :)

This isn't seem to be working either, it reminds me of a Geriatric Ward in a Stephen King movie adaptation, dull and eerie; well I only imagine that it would remind me of the above if I'd seen a Stephen King movie or even a Geriatric Ward.

As I pointed out to Ahsan, a lighter colour does make it easier to read and isn't as straining on the eyes however, it makes the blog seem barren. Its fine when a photograph is posted but otherwise not. I think some background artwork (around the text) would certainly help.

To sum it up, I'm not too keen on going back to the old format, so keep on at it Ahsan, I know you've got fast internet now!

i think old format + larger font might do the trick. i think people in general liked the black but found it hard to read. like NB said, we're never going to please everyone, no matter how democratic a process we try to make it.

Hows this, Precise inverse. I still prefer the old one , but consider this an olive branch to the folks who want us to change our entrenched ways.

We still lose our first few posts though. completley in the case of white.

So yeah, lets go back to black. Once you go black, you never go back. So this kid in khadda market once told me.

Olive branches be damned.

larger font wont work because its too large and looks like its for babies. what ive done is make the text whiter so it stands out more. ive also chosen brown as the post title color because asim said that brown is equidistant from purple (me) orange (kabir) and blue (you). if you want to tinker further go ahead, im happy as it is.

NB said...

Works for me. I tinkered with the post titles because Brown is Pretty much what kabirs colour is (no pun intended). I appreciate the expert opinion (genuinley no sarcasm intended) but white is neutral, plus we dont need more colours.

Dont you wish all our posts could be this commented upon?

Well, 13 out of the 15 came from contributors to this site. But if you want, next time you post an in depth and lengthy piece, ill be sure to comment inanely and repeatedly on it.

Please use a pale yellow background with blue text and find a font that is not so anorexic!
