Quote of the Day
When a footballer signs with a new club there are some phrases you can always count on hearing: “tremendous opportunity”, “always been a fan”, “a real challenge” etc. It’s refreshing that Cristiano Ronaldo admits its all about the money:
"I want to play for Real Madrid, but only if it is true they are eager to pay me and Manchester United what they have been saying they will,"

To be fair, with the global economy in a wreck and inflation taking place all over, there's no telling how expensive hair gel will be next year.
Shame. Read somewhere in I think an opinion piece, or maybe it was here (?) that the potential move seems to be more about Ronaldo's ego; and not in terms of cash.
He wants to be Madrid's saviour. Dunno about the truth and legitimacy in that, and despite the fact that UNEQUIVOCALLY HE IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD I'd rather he pick and choose right now than be a cunt. If he goes, United get a hefty sum which can be put towards the allegedly already large transfer kitty Fergie has and we can go after Benzema and David Silva (seeing as how Alves has been bought by Guardiola at Barca *damn you!*)
Ahsan, do you also mind telling me why there are reports that Pique might be used in a player-exchange + cash bid for Joao Moutinho? If that is the case I might have to drop by Catalunya and smash Pep's head open. :@
All you need now is a proper left back to have a class defense :o
