The Case of the Imploding Dollar

Thanks to The News, I learned that my good friend and former boss Mohammed Hanif has been nominated for the Booker prize for his brilliant debut novel A Case of Exploding Mangoes. I also learned that people aren't joking when they say the dollar is weak.

‘A case of Exploding Mangoes’ by the Okara-born author is competing against publications of 12 other leading writers for the prize of 50,000 pounds (US $ 1 million).
