Laxman in the first and Sehwag in the second were the two best. I remember that test like it was yesterday, I really do. Akmal's hundred? After 0-3? After 39-6? Shoaib hitting Sachin in the head? Asif jagging it all over the place like it was Headingly in the 1980s?

Damn. I remember watching in disbelief as Pakistan crumbled against Irfan Pathan on a green Karachi wicket. I remember being amazed at his hat trick, and losing all hope at 39/6. But enter Kamran, supported wonderfully well by Shoaib if I remember correctly. I went to the match on the third day, watching Faisal Iqbal complete his century and Afridi smash the Indian bowlers to all parts en route to what I believe is one of the best Pakistani victories in the past decade. Statistically it was also one of the biggest ever against India I believe - 341 runs, no?

I think it was Razzaq who partnered Akmal. Though I do recall Shoaib playing a tidy little knock himself.
And yeah, the Afridi knock in the second innings was overkill, but what overkill it was.
is it me or is asifs left hand far too loose? should be getting at least 5-10 more ks with a stiffer front arm.
